Your Health profile is a record of your medical information which is useful for the doctor to refer to when they are answering your health-related questions. Your medical profile includes information like your current (or chronic) conditions, medications, allergies, as well as relevant medical history. Your profile contains important and relevant health information that could help your doctor understand you better during your consults. Having a complete and updated health profile will help you get smarter and better consults. It may also help avoid any errors that result from the Doctor/HCP not being aware of pertinent medical information about you. You can create your medical profile by tapping on your image or name on the ‘Family’ section of the app. Just add the relevant information and save. A few tips on completing your profile:
Medical History: List any medical conditions you currently suffer from here. You may also list important medical events from your past here.
Current Medications: List all medications you are on, including any nutritional supplements and over-the-counter medicines. You should update this section regularly.
Other Medical Information: Any other information you would like to share with your Care Team. This may include any family medical history as well.
You can add your children and other family members to your WayuMD app. Click on the ‘add member’ icon on the top of the ‘Family’ section of your app. It is important to create profiles for any dependants who will be consulting a doctor from your account. Monitoring your Health Trends are an important part of managing chronic conditions like diabetes and hypertension, as well as your overall health and wellness. WayuMD includes charts for you to track Health Trends like blood pressure, heart rate, blood glucose, weight, etc. You can access Health Trends from your profile. To add a trend, tap on the ‘add’ icon. Select the ‘settings’ of the trend you would like to track, and subscribe, as well as set the frequency at which you would like to add data. Go to your profile, and tap on the icon for the Health Trend you would like to record data for. Tap on ‘Add reading’ and enter your data as well as any notes associated with the reading. To add readings from a past date, just change the date in the ‘add reading’ box, and save. Doctors on your Care Team can look at your latest Health Trends charts by going to your profile view. They have access to these charts as well as your medical profile during an online consultation as well.
Your Care Team consists of your doctors and other healthcare providers (HCPs), who advise and support your health and well-being. On WayuMD, doctors on your Care Team can refer to your medical profile and be accessible to you for online consults, whenever you need them. The HCPs on WayuMD are doctors registered with respective State Medical Councils in India, Medical Council of India, as well as licensed practitioners of Homeopathy and Ayurveda. Go to the ‘Care Team’ section of your app, and tap on the ‘search’ icon in the action bar on top of your screen. If you know your doctor’s WayuMD ID, enter only the ID and search. If you are looking for a doctor, search by name, medical specialty or location. Your doctor may not have set up their online practice on WayuMD yet. But you can always invite them to join. You can also let us know and we will get them set up and on your Care Team! WayuMD is meant to extend your relationship with your doctors, and make healthcare smarter and convenient. WayuMD helps you maintain a health profile, track your health data, as well as your children’s vaccinations, growth and development. WayuMD is best used to ask health-related questions, get quick consults and health information that does not require a physical interaction, checking in with the doctor for chronic conditions, and as a follow-up to in-person visits.

To start a consult, tap on the ‘consult’ icon to the right of the member name. Tapping in ‘new consult’ opens a form. You should describe your symptoms and/or your question clearly. Also enter the date since you have been experiencing them, and any treatments/medications you have already taken for this issue. You may also attach any relevant photos or files for the doctor. After reviewing your consult message, proceed to pay the required consult fees (using a third-party payment gateway). Once the payment is confirmed, your request is sent to your doctor. From the Family dashboard of your app, tap on the consult icon for a given member. This will take you to a list of all the open consults that member has. The time taken to reply depends on your doctor's availability. Typically, your doctors/HCPs aim to address your consult within a few hours. For a given consult request, you can only send messages to your doctor once they have opened your consult and looked at your query. You get a notification when the doctor has started looking at your query. At this stage, the status of your consult will change from ‘new’ to ‘in progress’ and you can message and chat with them. You will see a yellow message badge on the consult icon for the member who has received a message from the doctor. Tap on the consult icon to see the ongoing consult. Your payment transaction may drop, cancel or take a while to process. This may be due to an internet connection issue or sometimes a problem with the bank or the payment gateway servers. We request you to try the payment again or try using a different payment option. You may seek a consult on behalf of dependants like children, or other family members. However, their profile should have accurate medical information about them. When consulting for someone else, make sure that the consult is sent from their profile, i.e. their name appears in the ‘patient’ line of the new consult form. After they have ended, your consults are archived in the Past Records, and include the prescription sent by the doctor as well as your invoice for the consult fees paid. You may cancel any consult request before your doctor has started looking at it, and get a full refund as WayuMD Credits. We do not offer refunds after your consultation with the doctor, and any issues you have with a doctor must be taken up directly with them. You may cancel your consult request only if the doctor has not opened it (i.e. they have not started looking at your message and/or chatting with you). When you are still able to cancel a consult, you will see the Cancel Consult icon on top when you open the consult request. When you cancel a consult, it is rescinded from your doctor's online waiting area, and the message deleted. We refund the consult fees to you as WayuMD Credits, which you can use easily for any future consults. If you would like the money transferred to your bank account, please email us at members@wayumd.com Yes.
